[av_one_half]Nicholas Karavatos is a visiting lecturer in creative writing at Arab American University in Jenin, West Bank, Palestinian Authority. From 2006 to 2017, he was an assistant professor at American University of Sharjah in the UAE, & in 2018 an Ambassador’s Distinguished Scholar to Ethiopia. He taught inmates at Humboldt County Correctional Facility for College of the Redwoods in Eureka last year.
